Our team is expanding, and we are looking for a Technical Architect to join The Kitchen and support the technical development and delivery of our architectural and interior projects.

The role focuses on translating approved designs into accurate, coordinated, and buildable technical solutions, ensuring that drawings, details, specifications, and multidisciplinary requirements are properly developed and aligned throughout the project.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

‍

• Develop and produce complete technical drawing and IFC packages based on approved architectural and interior designs.
• Produce detailed floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, sections, construction details, joinery details, and schedules as required.
• Translate design intent into practical and buildable technical solutions while maintaining the approved design.
• Develop architectural and interior construction details, including wall, floor, ceiling, door, glazing, millwork, and finishing details.
• Review and coordinate drawings across Architecture, Interior Design, MEP, Structural, Civil, and other relevant disciplines.
• Identify and resolve drawing discrepancies, clashes, and technical coordination issues before construction.
• Review existing site conditions, surveys, and as-built information and incorporate verified information into the technical documentation.
• Ensure technical drawings comply with applicable building codes, accessibility requirements, life-safety requirements, and project standards.
• Prepare and maintain drawing schedules, material and finish schedules, door schedules, and other technical documentation as required.
• Coordinate technical requirements with suppliers, manufacturers, contractors, and consultants when necessary.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, samples, and contractor technical documentation where applicable.
• Attend and work on-site when required to support technical coordination, verify site conditions, and ensure alignment between drawings and site execution.

‍QUALIFICATIONS

‍

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in technical architecture, architectural detailing, or interior fit-out documentation.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of technical detailing, construction drawings, and IFC documentation.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, finishes, building components, and interior fit-out systems.
• Good understanding of MEP and structural coordination and their integration with architectural and interior works.
• Good knowledge of relevant building codes, accessibility, life-safety, and construction requirements.
• Ability to interpret architectural and interior design concepts and translate them into coordinated and buildable technical solutions.
• Strong ability to identify and resolve technical and multidisciplinary coordination issues.
• Experience reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, and contractor documentation is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and drawing-management skills.
  
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary project team and manage multiple project requirements simultaneously.
• Advanced English communication skills, both spoken and written.
