Our creative team is growing, and we are looking for an Interior Designer to join The Kitchen and contribute to the development of workplace projects from concept through design development.

The role focuses on translating project briefs and client requirements into functional, creative, and well-resolved workplace environments, with a strong emphasis on concept development, space planning, materiality, and overall design experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

‍

• Develop design concepts, narratives, mood boards, and visual directions for workplace projects.
• Develop space plans, general zoning, furniture layouts, floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, and demolition plans as part of the design process.
• Translate client requirements and workplace needs into functional and efficient spatial solutions.
• Develop and refine the overall interior design, including materials, finishes, colors, lighting concepts, furniture, and FF&E.
• Create and develop 3D models to explore and communicate design ideas.
• Prepare high-quality design presentations for internal reviews and client presentations.
• Develop the design through its different stages while maintaining consistency with the approved concept and project requirements.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, brainstorming sessions, and internal design reviews.
• Coordinate design-related requirements with other disciplines when necessary.

‍QUALIFICATIONS

‍

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture.
• 2–4 years of relevant professional experience in interior design.
• Strong conceptual thinking and ability to develop a project from an initial idea into a cohesive design.
• Strong space-planning and layout-development skills.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.
• Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Strong understanding of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and FF&E.
• Good understanding of interior construction principles and how design decisions translate into built environments.
• Strong visual presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work across multiple projects and collaborate within a multidisciplinary design environment.
• Strong attention to detail and design quality.
• Advanced English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Experience in workplace and corporate interior design is preferred.
